I wanted them to wake him up and surprise him. They were AMAZING and he LOVED it! They were so easy to work with and quick in getting back to communications. They showed up 15 minutes early to set up exactly where I wanted them to be. They were a very polite and courteous, Mrs. Fuentes was easy to talk to and overall communication was great. This particular event was for my mother's birthday. They sang every song we regrested and even joked around a bit. I will definitely recommend and use this mariachi band on the future I hired Mariachi Amigoz as a celebration for the employees at my office. They were very professional and talented. We strolled around the entire office and serenaded everyone. They played for about a 1/2 hour and everyone loved them. I will definitely recommend them and would hire them again. The only way for the consumer to honestly help one another is to share our experiences. Initially, Antonio Fuentes informed me he had no trumpet player included in the trio, which I sought to hire. Upon hearing my comment, "ok let me look around" he quickly changed his story and wanted to call me right back. He did, and informed me he could provide a trumpet player for my event. I agreed and paid the $100. 00 booking fee. 3 days before the planned event, his wife (as she stated) was the only female in the band, but also the booking agent, who called and informed me they had no trumpet player because he was arrested for DUI recently. I considered this breech of our verbal contract between Antonio and myself and attempted to call off the arrangement, because in addition to the breech of contract, I suspected Antonio had pulled the classic "bait and switch maneuver". She informed me that the $100. 00 deposit (which they already collected from me through Gig Salad) was non-refundable. This woman was incredibly rude, disrespectful, and 'short' with her conversation during our communication. I reluctantly agreed to go forward with our original contract. This woman then proceeded to ask me "are we going to be paid the full amount when we finish performing? ". I assured her that her band would be paid upon honoring the contract. The day of my planned event Mariachi AmigoZ did not show up OR call me to at least let me know no one was coming. As of now, I have been waiting for someone from GigSalad to respond to my e-mail, which informed them of my horrible experience, but I only received an acknowledgment that 'they' received my initial inquiry and would call me. 2 days contact from GigSalad. I don't know what is going on, but a couple of facts are clear for anyone who wants to read this review and beware: 1. $100. 00 of my money was taken from me by Antonio Fuentes and nothing was provided in exchange. That is called stealing (folks)... we all know that. 2. Antonio's wife was very disrespectful and unappreciative, that I was patronizing their Mariachi band during our interaction.
